This handout is a teaching resource intended for students enrolled in the university in the first year of a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science (MI). It covers fundamental concepts in mathematical analysis, aiming to provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical reasoning, which is crucial for understanding subsequent coursework in mathematics.
This course contains five chapters structured as follows:
• Field of real numbers,
• Numerical sequences,
• Real functions with real variable,
• Differentiable functions,
• Elementary functions,
In which, we present the definitions of mathematical tools and their properties, as well as the basic theorems and propositions while giving important remarks and detailed examples, which help to well assimilate these concepts. At the end of each chapter, exercises of varying difficulty are presented.
